Great Lent - Medz Bahk

begins on the Monday following Poon Paregentan Sunday and lasts for 40 days, that is until the day before the Resurrection of Lazarus (the day before Palm Sunday). Then begins Holy Week - Avak Shapat leading the faithful to the great Feast of the Resurrection of Christ - Easter - Zadig.
